I-LDCC is a sponsor for the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), which provides financial reimbursement and technical support to family day care homes and centers who serve meals to children in their care. You can be reimbursed for one meal and two snacks, or two meals and one snack per child per day.
A home that is licensed for 12 children and serves breakfast, lunch, and one snack every day can receive anywhere from approximately $500 - $1100 per month depending on factors such as your income, the income levels of children in your care, or the income level of your school district.
Inter-Lakes Family Nutrition Program offers start-up training and support, online and paper menu submission, annual training hours and more.
